Singer Sam Lucas Lubyoogo alias Levixone is one Ugandan artiste who has raised the gospel industry flag so high. The urban gospel singer has been doing music for more than 10 years and in his journey, he has held several shows in Kampala and performed in different countries outside home. Levixone has had local concerts at Uganda Museum, Royal Suites in Bugolobi, Kati Kati Hall, Cricket Oval and Kololo Airstrip among others. The only venue he missed out on was Namboole stadium due to the Covid-19 pandemic that shut the world for some time.

For the first time last Saturday, Levixone headlined a concert in Mbarara and he chose University Inn, a venue that Mbarara based singer Ray G apparently paid for him. The show titled Obukomoko meaning Origin is an idea that perhaps was curated by Ray G and Levixone if social media is something to go by. The concert was full house as many thronged the venue to witness a great show by the self-proclaimed man of God.

The notable faces in the gospel industry that turned up for the concert included gospel artists Kato Disan, Happy Alex, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, Best Emilly, and Exodus, among others. Levixone stepped on the stage after midnight amid ululation from the crowd that had eagerly waited for him. He did songs like Esala, Watching You and Ponya among others. The stage design and set was top notch as it was the talk on the internet hours before the show. The stage was built by Fenon events who for the first time took their services to Mbarara and they nailed it as usual. The lighting and sound was good as it gave the singers a good moment while performing.

The beautiful stage and even production was by Fenon Events

Fenon records have played a pivotal role in Levixone’s music career and it is where his first song Nonya Omu was produced from and by Steve Jean. When it comes to his concerts, Fenon has also produced all Levixone’s concerts.

Miki Wine, a young brother to Bobi Wine also surprised Levixone on stage and they did their song Guno Omwaka and Nobody. Woman of God Desire Luzinda also flew into the country from the USA where she is currently staying to support Levixone at his concert. Luzinda and Levixone did a popular runyankole cover of the song Otwebembere. To close the show, singer Ray G joined him on stage and they did their song Yoya.
