The search for National Unity Platform Supporter and activist Mark Ivan Kyeyune is still ongoing. It is reported that on December 16th 2023, Kyeyune was arrested and released on police bond on December 16th but was told to report back to Police every after two weeks but since then, he has never reported back and his is still wanted by Police.
He was jailed and released on December 16th. Kyeyune was charged a case of involvement in unlawful political activities.
Reports have emerged that Kyeyune and his family has been missing since December 2023 under unexplained circumstances. Many NUP supporters have been missing and some have lost lives and others are still under detention.
Uganda has not been a proper place for any NUP supporter or anyone who shows support of NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine. Artsites who support Bobi Wine have also been disturbed by authority during their concert fearing that they will use the platform to preach their agenda.
