Buruuli Kingdom located in Nakasongola District on Wednesday received 30 solar panels handed over to the King by Mr Robinson Masembe, a businessman and senior Pastor at Maya Christian Fellowship.
Mr Masembe was appointed the Ambassador of Buruuli Kingdom by Isabaruuli Isabarongo Mwatyansozi Mwogezi Butamanya last year. Mr Masembe was handed his appointed letter during a breakfast meeting at Kampala Sheraton Hotel and immediately, he embarked on work as Ambassador. Among the things Mr Masembe promised was to brainstorm for the Kingdom in terms of development and also connect them to possible aid across the world.

The 30 solar panels that Mr Masembe handed over to the King of Buruuli is meant to serve 30 households and as time goes on, another batch of solar panels will be delivered to Buruuli Kingdom until the entire community of beneficiaries is covered. “I am so happy that Mr Masembe who also became a son of Buruuli Kingdom has already started his duties as our Ambassador” The King of Buruuli Kingdom said. He went on and urged the people of Buruuli to take good care of the solar panels as they will help to not only provide light at home but also to work as security and also help in pumping the water system.

Before the solar panels, Mr Masembe also set up three boreholes outside the palace to help the people of the community access water after they have been struggling to find clean water which is located 6km away from where they stay.
