A jilted man has kidnapped his own four-year-old daughter and demanded a ransom of sh50m from the child’s mother, Desire Tamale.

According to the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, the suspect, who is still at large, is identified as Joseph Ssekyanzi from Kawempe Division.
Ssekyanzi allegedly took this unfathomable act following his separation from Tamale.
“Imagine kidnapping your own daughter just because you separated from the mother and demanding a ransom,” Owoyesigyire remarked.
The police revealed that the child was found in good health and has since been reunited with her mother as authorities hunt for Sekyanzi.
