Kampala City socialite Nasser Nduhukire, also known as Don Nasser, appeared before Buganda Road Court on Monday, facing charges of aggravated trafficking in children for sexual exploitation.

Don Nasser is accused of working with Promise Gatete to transport a 16-year-old girl from Tagore apartments at Acacia Mall and holding her captive in the Kito-Kira division for three days.

Both individuals have denied the charges but were remanded to Luzira prison, pending their appearance before the High Court for trial.

Don Nasser was arrested by police on September 20 at the Malaba border while allegedly attempting to flee into Kenya.

He faces accusations of child trafficking, sexual exploitation, drug abuse, and producing pornography involving minors.

Police spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma disclosed that Nasser used his status and influence to lure young girls into sexual acts.

Speaking at a press conference at the police headquarters in Naguru, Kituuma further revealed that Nasser is also facing defilement charges, initially reported at Kira Road Police Station in Nakawa Division, Kampala. The maximum penalty for this crime is life imprisonment or death.
