The 4th outing on the Corporate Sports Network ( CSN) calendar served up lots of entertainment at former Gems Cambridge school on Sunday.
In basketball, the takes were high during the finals between Case Hospital and perennial contenders Hotel Africa.
Case Hospital, with a thin bench, were the underdogs. Hotel Africana, the 2024 losing finalists to Manifest TV, buoyed by manager, James Baker, looked to go one better.
They were bridesmaids again, losing by 33-21 to a spirited Case Hospital.
In the third place play off, Centenary Bank defeated fellow bankers, Dfcu bank by 23 to 15 points.
Enroute to the finals, Hotel Africana dispatched dfcu by 38 – 30 points, while Centenary Bank lost by 28- 20 against eventual winners Case Hospital.
The youthful Case Hospital, buoyed by captain and MVP, Lewis Kigongo, swept hearts of fans with a great display. They had a thin bench but put in a shift.
In football, 2024 champions Tropical Bank were in spirited form, winning all their games and going to the summit of the footall table with 37 points after 15 games. They are tied on points with Uganda Revenue Authority, which has played a game less.

Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), Uganda Civil Aviation authority ( UCAA) and Vision Group are all vying for the top slot in 2025.
According to the organisers, next month ( June) will have two outings, with the first on June 8 where they will host swimming and pool table at Hotel Africana.
During the end of month outing, hostef at Maroons Grounds in Luzira, corporates will vie in football and Volley ball.
