Latest news on the grapevine is that Andrew Kyamagero, a former NTV news anchor, is acquainting himself with Mandarin language and cuisines, as he prepares to relocate to China

According to blogger Isaac Katende, (Kasuku), Kyamagero is set to relocate with his nuclear family to China after securing a scholarship.

The blogger hinted that the interview will be dropping on Tuesday next week via his YouTube channel.

On Thursday, Kyamagero announced his Nation Media Group exit after his stint at the Serena-based NTV came to an end.

Kyamagero who anchored his last bulletin on Thursday night shared his gratitude to the station and viewers for their unwavering loyalty.

He leaves after close to six years at NTV Uganda.

“Thank you for trusting me to bring the news that defined who we are… Tonight marks my last bulletin,” he posted on X.

“It’s been an honour and privilege to serve you all,” he said in his heartfelt message.

Kyamagero has been a key figure at NTV since joining in 2018, where he brought a unique style and professionalism to his role as an English news anchor.

He became a regular on the morning show and delivered the daily 9pm news.

His journey at the station marked a significant part of his illustrious career, which spans over a decade in various media houses including Galaxy FM and Radio.
