It’s been a long bargain from the fans asking for a concert staged by singer Asha Naava Zziwa known by stage name Naava Grey. The singer who has been actively doing music for many years finally gave Ugandans a concert over the weekend. The Naava Grey Symphonic concert took place at the Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall on Friday, Valentine’s Day.

The day saw couples come out to enjoy the love songs from Naava Grey. The venue was filled to capacity. First, the tables were sold out and next were the VIP tickets but provisional tickets were printed and more space was forged for the singer’s fans.

Before the show, videos and pictures of the venue set up were making rounds on Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and X. It was the works of the Fenon events that were in charge of the stage, sound and lighting. The venue was well lit and the vibe was on, it was all left for Naava to deliver.

When Naava took to the stage, it was with no surprise, the audience was made of her day one fans. The audience sung with her each and every song and at some point, they never allowed her to sing but rather collectively, they sung the whole song as she looked on.

Naava Grey took to the stage at 9:30pm. Dressed in an all-white outfit and started off with Aliba Wani, the song that introduced her to the music scene many years ago. Aliba Wani was a project produced by Steve Jean at Fenon Records and it was not by coincidence that his company was there to produce the event aswell. Naava’s stage also accommodated artistes like Mun*G, Kenneth Mugabi, Bruno K and Joshua Baraka.

Naava performed all songs in her catalogue like Ninga Omuloge, Soka Lami, Owuwo featuring Kenneth Mugabi. She crowned the evening with Nteredde.
