Media personality and pastor Jonathan Nalebo shared the news of his separation from his wife, Enid Mirembe, the former Miss Tourism Busoga Region.
The couple, who had been together for seven years, have two daughters, whom Nalebo confirmed are safe and well.
In his emotional post, Nalebo explained that the decision was made mutually for the sake of peace, healing, and the well-being of both parties.
He expressed deep admiration for his wife, describing her as “an incredible woman” who was “too perfect” for him.
He acknowledged that he had mishandled the relationship and failed to fully appreciate the values she embodied.
“As a servant of God, I know I am called to lead by example—but I have fallen short. I was warned that the enemy often comes for the most precious things—and family is one of them,” Nalebo posted on Facebook.
“I now see how easily the enemy can sow division when we are not vigilant in prayer, humility, and love.”
He assured followers that their children will remain in the custody of Mirembe, praising her wisdom and strength in raising them.
Nalebo wished her nothing but the best, expressing hope that she would find someone who values her as she deserves.
“I return to the feet of Jesus to seek Him more deeply, to serve Him more faithfully, and to become the man He originally called me to be,” Nalebo concluded. He also quoted Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
