Yesterday at Naguru Police Barracks, an incidence of murder happened and it involved Police Constable Alex Adei who shot two female and they died on spot. The females were named Babra Kongai aged 32 and another female Police constable known as Seeze Tusiime.
According to the Press statement released by Uganda Police Force, the shooting happened at approximately 8pm in the barracks where Adei shot and killed Babra Kongai and female Police officer Tusiime.
In the statement, Deputy Public Relations Officer, Kampala Metropolitan Police ASP Luke Oweyesigire said that the cause of the shooting was unclear and that more investigations are still going on but the little gathered is that Adei and Kongai were married but the relationship failed because of domestic issues.
The report also indicates that in an attempt to flee the venue is when PC Tusiime was also shot but Adei was arrested before he could go any further and is currently being held at Jinja road Police station.
The police recovered the firearm used in the incident along with 12 rounds of ammunition and the two bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to the City Mortuary at Mulago
