Ugandan-Swedish singer Angel Nambatya who works and does music in Sweden will touch down onto the Ugandan soil this Sunday. The singer who confirmed the news a few days ago through her close friends says she will return to Uganda for
Nambatya went to Sweden in 2016 and that’s where she studied and graduated and currently besides music, she is a professional Nurse in Sweden. She has family members both in Uganda and in Sweden.
Nambatya started doing music in January last year and so far she has two songs titled Am in Love and Nkwagala Nyo. She finds it easy doing music in Sweden because the people are supporting and so far no complaints. There is a difference doing music in Sweden and Ugandan. In Sweden, you feel like everything is done on international level with many streaming platforms rather than Ugandan. Her fans are mixed and they are both Ugandans and the Swedish since she is a Swedish- Ugandan. Nambatya promotes her music online through channels like Tiktok, Spotfiy and YouTube among others.
She confirmed that she will be coming to Uganda to do more music and she will collaborate with many artistes. She used the chance after breaking off for holidays from her Nursing job. When asked if she is coming back to battle it out with other female artistes, Nambatya says for her, music is not about battling one person or the other but rather doing good music for the fans who support her career.
