The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially confirmed that the results from the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) will be released this Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at State House Nakasero.
This comes after the Minister of Education and Sports, First Lady Hon. Janet Museveni, was successfully briefed on the general performance of S.6 candidates ahead of the scheduled release.
The UNEB team, led by Chairperson Prof. Celestino Obua and Executive Director Mr. Dan Odongo, conducted the briefing at State House Nakasero on Wednesday to ensure that all preparations for the official announcement are complete.
The UACE Results Release, as has always been the norm with other similar functions, will be presided over by the Minister of Education and attended by key stakeholders in the education sector.
UNEB has reassured the public of a transparent and credible examination process, emphasizing that the results accurately reflect students’ performance across the country.
A total of 142,009 candidates sat for the 2024 UACE examinations across 2,634 centers nationwide. Of these, 61,968 were female, while 80,041 were male.
UACE students who will qualify to join higher education are expected to join in August for the new academic year 2025/26.
Parents, students, and school administrators are encouraged to follow the official release and use UNEB’s result-checking platforms to access individual student results once they are published.
