Singer Cinderally Sanyu known by stage name Cindy while appearing on a Radio Interview said something that was unpleasant with Warafiki, a music group that has been singing for about 14 months now. Cindy when asked about Warafiki, she said that their singing style is nothing new and that they are just following and copying everything that Blu*3 did during their years of music together.
Blu*3 just like Warafiki worked under the management and guidance of Steve Jean, a music and event producer who owns event and music house Fenon Entertainment.
Replying to Cindy, the Warafiki girls on their social media posted with a heading History Lesson and listed The Rosettes, The Supremes, 702, Destiny’s Child, Dream Girls, Blu3, Warafiki. This literally meant that Blu3 is not the first girls group and that they can never copy them because there have been lots of female artistes groups that they can copy.
Warafiki is the trio behind songs like Tetubafana, Bwekati, No Money No Love and Ntagala. They were signed to Fenon Records one year ago.
